Picture book editing
Whether you’re a first-time author or a seasoned creator, I can help you bring your picture book manuscript to life. I provide comprehensive feedback and edits on plot, pacing, word choice, dialogue, and more to elevate your story while preserving your voice.
Content editing for rhyming books
With this service, I take your book from rough draft to polished manuscript. It includes:
- One round of developmental editing, including:
- An editorial letter detailing my suggested changes, with information on picture book conventions as well as on rhyme and meter as they apply to your book.
- A video call to discuss my recommendations (if desired)
- Up to two rounds of line editing
- Line editing for your synopsis and author bio
Cost: $375.00 (tax included) for books up to 1,000 words
Content editing for prose books

This service is for returning authors or experienced writers who already have experience writing and publishing picture books. It includes:
- Up to two rounds of line editing
- Comments in the manuscript identifying any structural issues you should address
- Line editing for your synopsis and author bio
Cost: $175.00 (tax included) for books up to 1,000 words
Early readers and easy chapter books
Early readers serve a very specific need: stories that captivate young minds while also supporting their reading development. To achieve this goal, I will help make sure your story is accessible, engaging, and educational without sacrificing creativity.
- Early readers (up to 2,000 words)
- Content editing: $550.00, tax included
- Line editing: $275.00, tax included
- Easy chapter books (up to 10,000 words)
- Content editing: $750.00, tax included
- Line editing: $375.00, tax included
