My goal with all of my editing services is to help you tell the story you want to tell. I’m not here to dictate to you what you should or should not do, or where you should take your story. Instead, I will collaborate you to make your manuscript shine.
Below is my services and prices. If you are on a budget and cannot afford the listed rates, please reach out! I can sometimes be flexible on my rates, especially if there’s a gap in my schedule that I need to fill.

Picture book editing
- Manuscript evaluation: $100 CAD
- Editorial letter detailing strengths of your manuscript and areas of potential improvement.
- Rhyme and meter analysis (if relevant).
- In-line comments to highlight specific lines that are working well and ones that need your attention.
- Manuscript evaluation + line editing: $200 CAD
- One manuscript evaluation, including editorial letter, rhyme and meter analysis, and in-line comments.
- One round of line editing on your revised manuscript to address word choice, clarity, flow, and tone.
Middle grade and young adult novels
- Developmental editing: $0.03 CAD per word
- Editorial letter detailing strengths of your manuscript and areas of potential improvement.
- In-line comments to highlight specific lines that are working well and ones that need your attention.
- Manuscript evaluation: $750 CAD (up to 80,000 words)
- Editorial letter only.
- Line editing: $0.03 CAD per word
- Line-by-line edits for issues such as word choice, tone, clarity, sentence structure, spelling, grammar, and consistency.
- Discounted rate for clients who have already received developmental edits or a manuscript evaluation.
